# Expanding Single Brackets

## 3 files22/07/2018

Expand and simplify an expression involving a single term in front of each brackets (i.e. not double brackets)

# Expanding Multiple Brackets

## 3 files11/05/2016

(Used for Tiffin Year 8 scheme of work)

(a) Multiply out (and simplify) a pair of linear expressions, by multiplying each term from one by each in the other.

(b) Be able to square a linear expression, e.g. (2x + 3)^2.

(c) Extension: Multiply out brackets each with more than two terms, e.g. (x + y + 1)(x + y).

(d) Extension: Multiply out more than two brackets, e.g. (x + 1)^3.# Full Coverage: IGCSE FM Algebraic Expressions

## 1 files27/03/2018

AQA IGCSE FM question compilation which aims to cover all types of questions that might be seen on the topic of algebraic expressions, including factorising, expanding, identities, completing the square and algebraic fractions. Students can complete this set of questions interactively on the DFM Homework Platform. Also contains answers.
