A 30 minute lesson used for Year 6 students (who had accepted places to Tiffin for Year 7) as part of their 'taster day'. Puzzles to do with finding fractions of shapes shaded (using UKMT problems).
In one activity on New Boys' Day designed in part to help them find different places in the school, boys were required to solve maths puzzles before finding the next location indicated.
