These are all resources I have created for Tiffin's Year 10 group, sets 1-2, who do GCSE at the end of Year 11 as normal, but also do an additional IGCSE Further Maths qualification. Resources are suitable for the new 1-9 GCSE.
Covers the GCSE specification (including graphs of direct and inverse proportion).
Solving equations where one is linear and the other quadratic.
(a) Plot and recognise quadratic, cubic, reciprocal, exponential and circular functions.
(b) Find the values of p and q in the exponential function y=pq^x given coordinates on the graph of y=pq^x
Finding the equation to a tangent of a circle, and associated questions. Part of the new GCSE specification.
Solve equations by first sketching the graph. Includes cases where you first need to manipulate the equation.
Covers both GCSE and IGCSE Further Maths content on quadratics and cubics, including identifying turning points in quadratics by completing the square.
Includes vector proofs (parallel lines and points forming a straight line).
